Dr. Jennifer Sylvian is Now a Fellow of the American Laser Study Club

About Dr. Sylvian

Dr. Sylvian, also known as Dr. Jen, was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Jen attended the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2008 and a Master of Public Health degree in 2010. Her doctoral training was completed in 2017 at Howard University College of Dentistry (Washington, DC). In 2019, Dr. Jen completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry with NYU Langone Hospitals in Tampa, Florida. There, she received advanced training in behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, trauma, special health care needs, interceptive orthodontics, space maintenance, oral hygiene, and dietary counseling. During her training years, she was awarded the Award for Academic Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry, the AAPD Predoctoral Student Merit Award, and the Robert E. Primosch Academic Excellence Award. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a Breathe Institute Ambassador, and a recent graduate of the Tongue-Tied Academy. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, learning different languages, and spending time with her family, including her dog, Jaxon.
