Pediatric Tongue and Lip Ties: Diagnosis and Treatment with Soft-Tissue Lasers

This course teaches best practices for dentists and physicians regarding tongue- and lip-tie assessment and treatment in infants and older children, and provides participation in a hands-on workshop to learn how to remove tongue-ties using soft-laser tissue on pig jaws. The course will enable the participants to understand how to diagnose and surgically treat tongue and lip ties. Attendees will learn and understand the laser-tissue interaction basics and safety consideration within the established standards of safe and effective use of lasers by dentists and physicians.
