Chiropractors’ Role in Tethered Oral Tissues
This course will be held April 6 in Houston, TX
As we learn more about tethered oral tissues (TOTS) and their effects on the body, chiropractors play an important role in helping to identify, treat, and educate families about the implications of TOTs on the body. In the course, you will learn how to identify tethered oral tissue through function and exam, chiropractic techniques pre and post-release, and how to implement this work into your practice. You will also hear from one of the leading frenectomy providers, Dr. Piya Gandhi, about how a frenectomy is done and the importance of chiropractic care to ensure better outcomes for her patients. We will also hear from Dr. Peter Vitruk, creator of the LightScalpel laser, which innovates how frenectomies are performed. This course is designed for all chiropractors to help expand your knowledge in the field of Tethered Oral Tissues and how we can better serve this patient population in our practice.
