Dr. Milca Mendez-Ceballos Is Now a Fellow of the American Laser Study Club
Congratulations to Milca Mendez-Ceballos, DDS, for achieving Fellow status at the American Laser Study Club (ALSC). The ALSC Fellow status indicates the achievement of basic knowledge in the foundations of laser surgery and laser safety principles through successfully completing ALSC and LIA (Laser Institute of America) courses and exams. About Dr. Mendez-Ceballos
Dr. Milca grew up in Berks County, Pennsylvania, where she completed her undergraduate career at Albright College. She then continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University where she obtained her dental degree. While obtaining her dental degree Dr. Milca taught Spanish lessons, lead service projects like Give Kid’s a Smile, and was an active leader in the American Student Dental Association and the American Dental Education Association. It was through service projects like Give Kid’s a Smile that Dr. Milca found a passion for pediatric dentistry and decided to pursue becoming a specialist. Dr. Milca completed her pediatric residency program at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, in Philadelphia. When she’s not serving patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ricardo and goldendoodle Belle, weightlifting, traveling, trying new restaurants, and going on mission trips.
