Dr. Jacqueline Caster Is Now a Fellow of the American Laser Study Club
Congratulations to Jacqueline Caster, DMD, PharmD, for achieving Fellow status at the American Laser Study Club (ALSC). The ALSC Fellow status indicates the achievement of basic knowledge in the foundations of laser surgery and laser safety principles through successful completion of ALSC and LIA (Laser Institute of America) courses and exams. About Dr. Caster
As a native of Mechanicsburg, Dr. Jacqueline Caster enjoys providing extraordinary dental care to children in the community in which she grew up as well as making a positive impact in the lives of her patients.
Dr. Caster attended Trinity High School in Camp Hill and furthered her education by earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy in Pittsburgh. She then attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, Dr. Caster went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where she discovered her passion for providing dental care to children as well as patients with special health care needs. She worked for several years as a contract general dentist for the United States Air Force at Vandenberg Air Force Base in northern Santa Barbara County, California prior to pursuing a career in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Caster completed her pediatric dentistry residency program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine while serving as chief resident her last year. During her residency, she conducted research focused on diagnosing and managing tongue and lip ties in breastfeeding patients.
