Dr. Cecilia Akintonde Is Now a Fellow of the American Laser Study Club

We are delighted to recognize the achievements of Cecilia Akintonde, DDS, who has earned the Fellow title from the American Laser Study Club (ALSC). About Dr. Akintonde

Dr. Cecilia Akintonde is a pediatric dentist who focuses on serving the unique dental needs of infants, children, adolescents, and special needs patients. These populations require a great deal of care, patience, and heart alongside specialized training. She understands that oral health is an important part of overall systemic health, and she focuses on helping her patients develop the skills necessary to build the foundation for healthy smiles.

Dr. Cecilia completed her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. She then attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following dental school, she completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, serving as Chief Resident during her final year.

She enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and watching football in her spare time.
